Electrical/Plumber

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Plumber and/or Electrician to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting works in commercial properties, ensuring that all works are completed to the required standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Duties include but may not be limited to: 

Plumbing Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair water supply, drainage, and plumbing systems;

- Carry out plumbing installations and maintenance in commercial buildings;

- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, and faulty fittings;

- Install and maintain sanitary ware, water heaters, pumps, and related equipment;

- Ensure all plumbing works comply with relevant safety regulations and standards;

Electrical Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment;

- Carry out electrical installations in commercial properties;

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults;

- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems;

- Ensure all electrical works comply with applicable safety regulations and standards;

General Responsibilities:

- Perform maintenance and repair works as required;

- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications;

- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used appropriately;

- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment;

- Coordinate with colleagues, supervisors, and other trades;

- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines;

- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Practical knowledge of installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting techniques;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Good problem-solving and communication skills;
• Valid driving licence will be considered an asset;
• Candidates must be located in Malta with the eligibility to work.

Education and experience

• Previous experience in plumbing and/or electrical works is required
