Our client within the hospitality industry is currently seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrical and Plumbing Technician to join their maintenance team.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Carry out electrical and plumbing maintenance, repairs, and installation works across the premises;
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot electrical and plumbing faults;
- Perform planned preventive maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing installations, fixtures, and fittings to ensure their safe and efficient operation;
- Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues, including faulty wiring, lighting, switches, sockets, leaking pipes, blocked drains, and defective fittings;
- Assist with the installation, replacement, and maintenance of electrical components, pipework, sanitary ware, and related equipment;
- Work closely with the Maintenance team and other departments to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a technician role within a hotel or similar hospitality setting is preferred;
- Candidates with Wireman Authorisation Licence A are given preference;
- Currently already residing in Malta with a valid work permit.
- Hands-on knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance procedures;
- Ability to work within a team or independently;
- Professional proficiency in English, both verbal and written;
- Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting and working at heights;
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekend and public holidays;
