We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join a team specializing in Telematics and IoT Device Installation. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining telematics systems and IoT devices across a range of vehicles.
Install telematics units, mainly GPS trackers, sensors, and other IoT devices in vehicles;
Carry out wiring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic vehicle systems;
Test installed devices to ensure proper functionality and connectivity;
Conduct maintenance, repairs, and replacements of faulty equipment when required;
Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions;
Ensure all installations are completed according to company and safety standards;
Provide technical support and assistance to clients when necessary;
Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports;
Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
Robust technical skills and a meticulous attention to detail;
Self-motivated, with the capability to operate both independently and within a team;
Valid driver’s license;
Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
Education and Experience
Demonstrated experience with telematics and IoT devices
