We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join a team specializing in Telematics and IoT Device Installation. The selected candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining telematics systems and IoT devices across a range of vehicles.
- Install telematics units, mainly GPS trackers, sensors, and other IoT devices in vehicles;
- Carry out wiring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of electrical and electronic vehicle systems;
- Test installed devices to ensure proper functionality and connectivity;
- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and replacements of faulty equipment when required;
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions;
- Ensure all installations are completed according to company and safety standards;
- Provide technical support and assistance to clients when necessary;
- Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and service reports;
- Collaborate with the operations and technical teams to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Robust technical skills and a meticulous attention to detail;
- Self-motivated, with the capability to operate both independently and within a team;
- Valid driver’s license;
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
