Technical Security Researcher

Our client, an international company based in Malta, coming from the software security sector, is looking to employ a Technical Security Researcher to join their team. 

Having a Security Engineer background, you will join a talented team dedicated to reviewing code on programmable blockchains, primarily Ethereum.

Responsibilities:

• Review complex, high-assurance smart contract code.
• Advise clients on risk management for their systems.
• Leverage your expertise to help clients solve challenging security problems.
• Use your engineering skills to develop custom tools for rapid code assessment and security.
• Enhance your skills through ongoing personal and professional development.

Requirements

• Experience in low-level software as an engineer or security researcher
• Experience with programming language theory is a plus.
• Strong mathematical skills to understand financial models and exposure with Web3 applications.
• Familiarity with lean development, GitHub, and modern software engineering practices.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (such as Solidity, Python, Datalog, C++, and Go).
• Strong debugging and reverse engineering skills.
• Effective communication skills, both oral and written, for technical discussions.
• Self-motivation and initiative in driving new projects.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies.

Education and Experience

• Background in Computer Science or Mathematics to interpret academic research.
