Chemist
Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is looking for a Chemist to join their team. Your main responsibilities will be to:
Conduct analytical testing and investigations related to product quality and performance.
Manage sampling, testing, verification, and performance trend analysis.
Perform root-cause analysis on product failures, rejects, and customer complaints.
Support troubleshooting of electrochemical and production-related issues in collaboration with manufacturing teams.
Assist with the development and assembly of product prototypes, including sourcing of required materials.
Evaluate prototype performance and support testing activities in collaboration with R&D teams.
Ensure products are designed for efficient and scalable manufacturing.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Support product approval, validation, and release documentation.
Assist in the implementation and management of controlled product and process changes.
Ensure compliance with cGMP, EHS, REACH, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain laboratory procedures, SOPs, and process guidelines.
Establish and manage laboratory resources to support analytical and testing needs.
Oversee laboratory operations and ensure proper maintenance and functionality of equipment.
Collaborate with technical and production teams to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Education and Experience
Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar.
Previous experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment is an asset.
