We're looking for a Sales Manager to help the business strive for growth while taking on the responsibility of managing the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage, and motivate the Sales Team to achieve or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
- Use and oversee the company's CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and efficient sales operations.
- Coach, train, and support the Sales Team through regular performance monitoring and development.
- Approve team leave requests while ensuring adequate staffing and uninterrupted business operations.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Accounts, and Scheduling departments to maintain smooth workflows and resolve operational issues.
- Assist in the collection of outstanding client payments to support healthy cash flow.
- Oversee the execution and delivery of approved barter agreements.
- Work with the Station Director to develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Monitor market trends and adapt sales strategies to identify new business opportunities and remain competitive.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and sales performance.
- Prepare timely reports, communicate key risks and opportunities, and ensure proactive decision-making.
- Promote a positive, professional, and collaborative workplace culture while addressing urgent operational matters when required.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and overall service quality.
- Contribute to achieving the company's annual revenue target through strong leadership, strategic planning, and effective team management.
Salary package: 30K gross basic + commission + allowance
Requirements
- Previous local experience in Sales or Business Development within the Media industry
- Previous experience managing a team
- Fluency in Maltese
- A dedicated self-starter who is able to grow and motivate the team
