We're currently partnering up with a well-established Media company who's looking for a Sales & Administration Executive to join their team. The chosen candidate should be driven, resilient and dedicated to deliver. The first few months will be administrative-focused in preparation to eventually take on a more sales-oriented role within the sales team.
Responsibilities:
Phase 1:
Greet visitors, manage incoming calls, emails, and postal correspondence, and coordinate meeting schedules.
Provide general clerical and administrative assistance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the front desk and office operations, while responding to enquiries in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure office equipment functions properly by arranging maintenance and repairs, monitoring inventories, and assessing new equipment or processes where needed.
Manage stock levels of stationery, books, and publications through monitoring, stock takes, ordering, invoice verification, supplier liaison, and expense report preparation and reconciliation.
Phase 2:
Proactively generate new business through lead sourcing, cold calling, networking, promotional events, and existing relationships
Arrange and conduct client meetings to understand needs, present services, and deliver tailored solutions
Facilitate sales by collecting client information, processing orders, and ensuring accurate and timely media bookings
Negotiate terms, close deals, and professionally handle objections or complaints
Maintain detailed records of client interactions and update CRM systems accordingly
Track sales performance, prepare regular sales and financial reports
Contribute to market research and support the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies
Requirements
Previous local experience in sales, preferably in the advertising, agency, or media landscape.
A diploma / course in Management, Marketing, Sales, or Business, would be considered as an asset.
