Retail Sales Assistant

Our client is currently looking for a Retail Sales Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for retail and sales. The successful candidate will play an important role in delivering an exceptional shopping experience while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers and provide outstanding customer service.
• Process sales using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Handle cash and card payments accurately and issue receipts.
• Merchandise products and create appealing displays.
• Replenish stock from the stockroom and ensure shelves remain fully stocked.
• Label and price products when required.
• Open and close the store following company procedures.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in retail, sales or customer service is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good command of English is essential, Maltese and other languages are an asset.
• Basic computer skills and confidence using POS systems.
