Our client is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Retail Department's Small & Medium section. The role involves providing sales route coverage when required, coordinating daily sales activities, supporting sales performance, and ensuring high standards of customer service, merchandising, and in-store execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide cover for Sales Representatives during absences and peak periods.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure efficient route coverage.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve product visibility, and maximise revenue.
- Monitor stock levels and support effective merchandising standards.
- Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Conduct regular retail visits to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Support route planning, new product launches and promotions.
- Maintain accurate sales records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Valid local driving licence.
- Fluency in Maltese & English.
- Previous experience in FMCG sales, merchandising, retail sales, or a similar role.
- Strong customer relationship management and sales skills.
- Good understanding of retail operations and merchandising principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
