Medical Representative (Outdoor sales)

Our client within the Pharmaceutical industry, is looking to recruit a Medical Representative to join their growing team. The chosen candidate will:
Promote and sell the company's products to healthcare professionals in a designated territory.
Achieve sales targets and expand market share for the company.
Plan and execute strategies to increase product awareness among healthcare providers.
Build and maintain positive relationships with healthcare professionals, including doctors, pharmacists, and hospital staff.
Provide information and guidance about new products and their benefits.
Address queries and concerns regarding product usage and potential side effects.
Organize and attend meetings, conferences, and training sessions to stay updated on product developments.
Educate healthcare professionals on the proper use, benefits, and side effects of products.
Maintain accurate records of sales, client interactions, and territory activities.
Submit timely reports on sales performance and market feedback to management.
Monitor and report competitor activities, market trends, and customer needs.
Provide actionable insights to the marketing team to improve strategies.
Requirements
Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage a large territory.
Strong ethical standards and compliance with industry regulations.
Adaptability to new products, markets, and customer needs.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to interpret sales data and market trends.
Must be able to work on their own initiative.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related fields is given preference. Qualified Pharmacists/Doctors will be given preference.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets, build relationships, and negotiate effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Maltese and English to interact with diverse healthcare professionals.
Proven familiarity with medical terms, healthcare systems, and the pharmaceutical industry is a must.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
