Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end execution of major interior finishing projects and drive operational excellence across multiple construction sites. This role centers on streamlining site operations, and ensuring all works are delivered safely, on schedule, within scope, and to superior quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Leadership & Team Management: Direct, mentor, and empower Site Supervisors and operational teams across various large-scale project locations.
- Execution & Quality Assurance: Drive overall site productivity, quality control, and adherence to project specifications, architectural drawings, and company benchmarks.
- Resource Planning & Scheduling: Allocate manpower, material resources, and site activities to maintain project momentum and achieve milestone deadlines.
- Risk & Delay Mitigation: Proactively identify site bottlenecks, technical risks, and operational delays, implementing swift corrective measures.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the primary operational liaison for clients, main contractors, consultants, and sub-trades to ensure smooth workflow sequencing.
- Full Project Lifecycle Operations: Oversee mobilization, active construction, snagging, quality punch lists, and final site handover.
- Reporting & Escalation: Maintain clear communication channels, providing regular progress updates and managing critical escalations.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in senior site or project management roles within the construction sector.
- Qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or Business is highly desirable.
- Strong background in interior finishing works or sub-contractor environments is preferred.
- In-depth understanding of construction programming, site logistics, and trade sequencing.
- Knowledge of the Maltese language and a valid EU driving license are a must.
