Project Manager — Tiling & Installation

Our client is looking to recruit a Project Manager to manage their team of Tiers and Layers and lead ongoing projects. Reporting to the Director, the chosen candidate will:

• Conduct precise on-site measurements and verify quantity estimates prior to project commencement.
• Review job specifications and site conditions to anticipate potential installation challenges.
• Identify, negotiate terms with, book, and schedule qualified installers and sub-contractors.
• Maintain a pipeline of reliable installation partners to meet project demands.
• Partner with clients and installers to establish clear job timelines, expectations, and site logistics.
• Direct daily communications with installers and clients to provide updates, resolve issues, and ensure smooth workflow.
• Coordinate material procurement and delivery to guarantee all required supplies are on-site prior to the start of work.
• Perform walkthroughs, manage snag lists, and ensure all remedial work is completed to quality standards.
• Conduct formal client sign-offs and hand over completed projects.
• Prepare accurate final accounts and project reconciliations.
• Manage invoicing and collect final payments from clients upon project completion.

Requirements

• Self-motivated, problem-solver, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure.

Education and experience

• Site experience, ideally in tiling or stone fixing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English.
• Strong ability to take precise measurements, read site plans, and estimate material quantities.
• Experience with basic job-costing, snag-list management, billing, and payment collection.
• Proven track record in scheduling, logistics management, and multi-tasking across active job sites.
