Marketing Manager (FMCG)

Our client is a leading company on the Maltese islands that operates in the FMCG sector. They would like to engage a Marketing Manager to join their team.

The Role

• Oversees comprehensive brand portfolio marketing to enhance overall visibility and customer engagement.
• Strikes a seamless balance between high level strategic planning and active, hands on involvement across daily operations and in store execution.
• Directs and develops the merchandising team to ensure exceptional in store presence, display standards, and execution.
• Takes full ownership of planning, executing, and monitoring multi channel campaigns while managing dedicated marketing budgets.
• Collaborates closely with cross functional teams like Sales, Finance, and Logistics to ensure all initiatives align with commercial objectives.
• Continuously gathers and analyzes market intelligence, consumer behavior, and competitor trends to drive new growth opportunities.
• Consistently leverages data driven insights to evaluate campaign performance, refine future strategies, and guide product launches.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of five years of proven experience in marketing, brand management, or trade marketing directly within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
• Demands a demonstrated track record of combining strategic vision with hands-on operational execution across campaigns, brand performance, and budget management.
• Proven background in leading, managing, and developing team members to drive execution standards.
• Must have a minimum of five years of proven experience in marketing, brand management, or trade marketing directly within the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector.
• Preferably have a marketing related qualification
• Possesses strong commercial acumen, robust analytical capabilities, and deep consumer understanding paired with excellent communication skills.
