The General Operator is responsible for efficiently executing tasks within their assigned production section. The role requires strict adherence to quality, hygiene, and safety standards to ensure seamless operations and consistent product integrity.
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Operate basic production machinery in strict accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain hygiene standards, ensuring the production environment and equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized to prevent contamination.
- Conduct timely quality checks and immediately report any out-of-specification conditions to the direct supervisor.
- Safely handle raw materials and finished products, utilizing material handling equipment as required.
- Accurately collect and record process-related data.
- Identify operational issues and promptly raise maintenance requests.
- Actively participate in training sessions, both as a trainee receiving instruction and a peer delivering guidance.
- Foster positive relationships and clear communication channels with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless coordination.
- Perform other relevant tasks as assigned by supervisors to support business needs.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- An MQF Level 3 qualification and/or equivalent experience in a similar role is desirable
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or food preparation environment is highly considered an asset.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks quickly, methodically, and with high attention to detail.
- Good spoken English with the ability to follow detailed instructions and communicate effectively within a team.
- A strong, demonstrated commitment to workplace health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Working hours:
- 2 Shifts : Monday to Friday - 06:00 - 19:00
