Our client, in the Telecoms Industry is looking to recruit a Legal Counsel to join their growing team, to focus on Contract Management and Legal Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle, from drafting and reviewing agreements through to execution, renewals, terminations and maintaining accurate records
- Develop and maintain legal processes and standard operating procedures
- Identifying ways of improvement
- Manage and maintain centralised contract repositories, ensuring appropriate governance, organisation and compliance standards are upheld
- Lead and coordinate legal and regulatory transformation initiatives across the organisation, working closely with relevant stakeholders
- Conduct legal research and evaluate potential risks, providing practical advice and guidance on legal matters relating to business activities and operational decisions
- Overseeing documentation execution
- Assisting with AML and KYC checks
- Updating the contract templates
- Identifying legal issues
- Supporting with any other ad hoc tasks
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a law firm setting or in house counsel locally
- Strong understanding in drafting of commercial contracts
- Previous experience in drafting, reviewing and managing commercial contracts

- Holding a Degree and Warrant locally.
