Junior Lawyer

Our client is seeking a full time junior lawyer to join their team of professionals. 

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and support to senior management and business units on legal, corporate and compliance matters
• Assist and support the legal team in all legal aspects of the firm's operations, including transactional, deal and contract matters, as well as liaise with the MLRO and risk officer
• Be involved in offering specialized legal counsel and insights tailored to the yachting and aviation industries
• Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and strategic advantage for clients 
• Provide timely and accurate advice on complex legal issues related to transactions, regulatory matters, and industry specific challenges
• Draft, review and assist in transactional documents and complex commercial agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, service agreements, and NDAs
• Ensure clients operations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Company formation preparation and filing and corporate governance including preparing minutes and resolutions
• Supporting with managing litigation and dispute resolution matters, collaborating with external counsel and other experts in the field

Requirements

• Degree in Law (or equivalent), member of the Maltese Bar

Education and experience

• Minimum 1 years PQE in corporate and commercial law
• Previous experience in yachting and business aviation, or compliance industries would be a plus
