Investment Funds Lawyer

Our client, a leading law firm is looking to recruit an Investment Funds Lawyer to join their team.

Main responsibilities :

• Working closely with the Partners and other members of the Firm’s Investment Services and Funds team, with a particular focus on regulatory and compliance matters;
• Assisting clients with applications for licences under the Investment Services Act;
• Advising on and responding to regulatory queries arising under the Investment Services Act;
• Providing company secretarial and corporate governance support to licensed entities;
• Conducting legal due diligence, with a particular emphasis on regulatory and compliance matters; and
• Advising on and assisting with other regulatory-related matters and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Preference is given to candidates with experience in Investments/Funds
• Excellent written and spoken English & Maltese
