A client of ours specialised within the Financial and Corporate sectors, handling a various portfolio of clients, primarily within the iGaming, fintech and crypto space, is looking to onboard a Head of Legal to take command of their Legal arm.
Duties:
Oversee and coordinate the work of the legal team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities, clients, and internal departments as required.
Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the legal services function
Provide legal advice to management and clients on regulatory, corporate, and commercial issues.
Uphold the Organisation's quality control standards across all legal services delivered.
Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members on client engagements, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, keeping partners and clients informed of progress and any developments.
Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
Support senior management with ad hoc legal and client-related requests.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a law firm or corporate service provider environment
Strong background in corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Matese
Education and Experience
Must be a locally warranted lawyer; This is a non negotiable requirement
