A client of ours specialised within the Financial and Corporate sectors, handling a various portfolio of clients, primarily within the iGaming, fintech and crypto space, is looking to onboard a Head of Legal to take command of their Legal arm.
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate the work of the legal team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulatory authorities, clients, and internal departments as required.
- Identify business development opportunities and contribute to the growth of the legal services function
- Provide legal advice to management and clients on regulatory, corporate, and commercial issues.
- Uphold the Organisation's quality control standards across all legal services delivered.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members on client engagements, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
- Monitor project timelines and budgets, keeping partners and clients informed of progress and any developments.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Support senior management with ad hoc legal and client-related requests.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience within a law firm or corporate service provider environment
- Strong background in corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Matese
