We are working with a leading law firm who ae looking for a corporate and commercial lawyer to join their Corporate, Tax and Anti-Financial crime team,
Responsibilities
- Assisting on a variety of local and international corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, due diligence exercises, joint ventures, corporate restructurings, corporate governance matters (including shareholders’ agreements) and general corporate law mandates.
- Drafting and negotiating of commercial contracts.
- Assistance with company incorporations, the preparation of statutory forms and filings with the Malta Business Registry.
- Manage client relationships and collaborate with other team members within the Firm.
- Liaise with professional advisors and regulatory bodies.
- Conduct thorough legal research on various legal issues and provide consolidated legal opinions on client inquiries.
Requirements
- 2-5 years local experience
- Excellent negotiation, communication, drafting and interpersonal skills.
- Deadline driven, with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong communication in both English & Maltese
