Our client, in the Insurance Industry, is looking to recruit a Life Underwriter to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Handling the evaluation of insurance applications and determination of risk
- Applying underwriting guidelines
- Reviewing all medical, occupational and financial information
- Managing the records for audit and compliance
- Supporting with the development of underwriting strategies
- Ensuring all underwriting practices are aligned with applicable insurance regulations, internal policies and regulatory expectations
- Assisting in internal audits and regulatory reviews
- Working closely with sales, operations and claims team
- Assisting with the presentation and training sessions to internal stakeholders
- Supporting in any day to day duties
Requirements
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working within Insurance locally
- Excellent verbal and written English and Maltese
