Our client is seeking to recruit a Claims Handler to join their Claims Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Motor and Personal Lines insurance claims, ensuring excellent customer service while supporting clients throughout the claims journey.
Duties include:
- Handle and process Motor and Personal Lines
- Review claim documentation and assess policy
- Liaise with policyholders, insurers, loss adjusters
- Gather, verify, and maintain accurate claim records
- Monitor claim progress and ensure timely follow up on outstanding matters
- Assist in negotiating claim settlements
- Provide clear guidelines to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience handling Motor and/or Personal Lines insurance claims.
- Preference will be given to candidates pursuing professional insurance qualifications through the CII.
- Good understanding of insurance policies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously
- Fluency in both English and Maltese is required
