The Recruitment Specialist manages the full recruitment lifecycle sourcing, screening, and onboarding for technical, site-based, skilled trades, and office roles in the construction sector. This role ensures timely workforce mobilization and a high-quality candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Create job ads and source, screen, and interview candidates for roles like Site Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Project Managers, and skilled trades.
- Sourcing & Talent Pipelines: Utilize job portals, social media, recruitment agencies, and vocational schools to build talent pipelines for hard-to-fill positions.
- Workforce Planning: Partner with project managers to forecast labor needs and recruit ahead of project mobilization phases.
- Onboarding & Compliance: Draft contracts, manage onboarding, coordinate medical and certification checks, and verify work permits for non-EU nationals and agency staff.
- Temporary Staffing: Coordinate short-term labor needs with approved staffing agencies, ensuring valid work authorization and negotiated rates.
- Safety & Quality: Ensure new hires receive required PPE and uphold high quality, health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in recruitment (construction sector experience is a plus).
- Education: Minimum MQF Level 3 (O'Level standard).
- Languages: High fluency in written and spoken English.
Technical Skills:
- Knowledge of local employment legislation and non-EU work permit procedures.
- Proficiency in modern recruitment methods and social media sourcing.
- Fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Personal Competencies: Excellent organization, time management under pressure, attention to detail, and a team-oriented mindset.
