Payroll Officer

Our client, a well-established company within the Hospitality Industry, is looking to recruit a Payroll Officer to join their growing team. This will be a standalone payroll position, forming part of the Human Resources team and taking ownership of the company’s payroll processes.

Responsibilities:

• Handling the monthly payroll processes and reconciliations 
• Managing the statutory returns including FS3, FS5 and FS7 submissions 
• Handling payroll, labour cost and workforce reports 
• Ensuring compliance with Maltese payroll, tax, and social security requirements 
• Supporting the head of departments with payroll and labour data analysis 
• Managing accurate records 
• Supporting HR with projects, initiatives and company events when needed 

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working locally in Payroll
• Experience using Indigo Shireburn would be ideal
• Strong analytical and Excel skills
