Payroll Executive

€28,000 - €30,000 Annually Full Time Intermediate (1-3 years) On Premises Closing in 49 days

Our client is looking for someone with Payroll experience to join their growing team 

Responsibilities: 

  • Collect, review and input employees’ worked hours from timesheets, attendance records and other approved documentation into the payroll system.
  •  Check that timesheets are complete, properly authorised and submitted within the required deadlines.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other departments within the group as well as external entities in connection with the collection of correct and timely employee records.
  • Record overtime, leave, absences, bonuses, allowances, deductions, salary changes and other payroll adjustments.
  • Assist with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
  • Ensure that payroll records are handled confidentially and in accordance with applicable data- protection requirements.
  • Respond professionally and promptly to employee queries relating to salaries, payslips,deductions, leave, overtime, benefits and payroll processing dates.
  •  Explain payroll information clearly while escalating more complex or sensitive matters to the appropriate senior team member.
  • Liaise with managers and other departments to resolve missing information or payroll discrepancies.
  • Maintain a helpful, service-oriented approach when dealing with employees and external parties.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in local payroll is a must
  • Experience with payroll software.
  • Ability to identify discrepancies and follow them through to resolution.
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity and discretion.
