We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Payroll administrator to join our Payroll Department. The successful candidate will support the accurate and timely processing of payroll while providing assistance to employees and maintaining payroll records and compliance requirements.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
Collect, verify, and maintain payroll data, including working hours, sick leave, and
employee information.
Respond to employee queries relating to salaries, payslips, and payroll matters.
Update and maintain payroll records within the payroll system.
Process and monitor sick leave reports and certificates.
Liaise with HR, Operations, and other departments on payroll-related matters.
Ensure payroll activities are carried out accurately, confidentially, and in line with company procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in payroll, administration, accounting, or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good organisational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work to deadlines and handle confidential information.
Experience with payroll systems (Indigo experience will be considered an asset).
Requirements
Fluency in Maltese and English (spoken and written).
