Human Resources (HR) Manager

Our client is one of the leading companies in Malta. As they are growing they would like to engage a Human Resources (HR) Manager.

  • Lead the Human Resources function across the Group and ensure HR strategies align with business objectives.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee development.
  • Support managers across multiple locations by providing HR guidance and promoting best practices.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary procedures, grievances, and conflict resolution effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with Maltese employment legislation, company policies, and HR best practices.
  • Develop and implement workforce planning, succession planning, and talent retention strategies.
  • Coordinate training and development programmes while maintaining HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks.
  • Monitor HR metrics, provide strategic recommendations to senior management, negotiate collective agreements, and collaborate with all departments.

Requirements

  • Preferably hold a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field with a minimum of five years' HR experience, including at least two years in a managerial role.
  • Demonstrate previous experience within the hospitality, QSR, or FMCG sectors, which is considered an advantage
  • Possess strong knowledge of Maltese employment legislation, together with excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Be fluent in English, with proficiency in Maltese considered an added asset.
