On behalf of our client, Konnekt is seeking a meticulous and organised Payroll & HR Administrator. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day payroll processing and human resources administration, ensuring full compliance with local employment legislation and company policies while maintaining the highest standard of confidentiality.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Accurately prepare and process payroll in a timely manner, handling employee queries, leave administration, attendance, and benefits.
- Maintain precise employee records, contracts, personnel files, and general HR documentation.
- Prepare and submit employment documentation through relevant government portals (e.g., Identità, Jobsplus).
- Assist with recruitment activities, coordinating seamless onboarding and offboarding procedures for staff.
- Generate regular payroll/HR reports and liaise closely with team members, managers, and employees.
- Ensure all tasks comply with company procedures, Maltese labor laws, and strict confidentiality protocols.
What We're Looking For:
- Professional fluency in both Maltese and English is required.
- Proven track record in payroll processing and general HR administration.
- Experience using the Identità portal and HR/payroll software
- Must be proactive and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- High level of computer literacy with strong proficiency in administrative tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proven ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
The remuneration package will depend on the candidate's skills and experience
