Responsibilities:
- Supporting end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes, including posting vacancies, screening CVs, coordinating interviews, preparing employment documentation, and facilitating new hire inductions.
- Assisting with payroll administration by preparing timesheet reports, verifying payroll data, maintaining employee cost records, and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
- Maintaining employee records and HR documentation while ensuring compliance with GDPR, labour laws, and company policies.
- Managing employee lifecycle administration, including probation reviews, benefits administration, professional development reimbursements, and offboarding processes.
- Acting as the first point of contact for employee HR queries and liaising with external bodies regarding funding schemes and professional accreditations.
- Ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures while contributing to the continuous improvement of HR processes and administrative practices.
Requirements
- Previous local experience in a similar role within HR
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Knowledge of Maltese employment law
