They are looking for an HR Executive who manages general HR operations and day-to-day administration while contributing to wider people, culture, and staff development initiatives. Working alongside an external HR Consultant, this role oversees core HR processes, recruitment coordination, employee relations, and continuous learning opportunities to maintain a supportive, well-organized workplace.
This role is based in Gozo, with weekly visits to the Malta office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day HR administration, maintaining accurate employee records and workplace documentation.
- Oversee key HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, probation reviews, and offboarding.
- Serve as an accessible first point of contact for staff on general HR queries, policy guidance, and employee relations matters.
- Support the rollout and ongoing maintenance of HR policies, standard operating procedures, and compliance guidelines in line with external consultant recommendations.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Assist hiring managers throughout the interviewing and selection process to ensure a positive candidate experience and alignment with team needs.
- Coordinate internal and external training initiatives to support team upskilling and ongoing professional development.
- Support performance review cycles, helping translate feedback into structured growth pathways and training goals.
- Assist with succession planning efforts by tracking talent development for key roles across the business.
- Implement people and culture initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement, satisfaction, and long-term retention.
- Assist with employer branding and internal communication efforts to promote company values and a positive workplace environment.
- Collaborate with the external HR Consultant on special HR projects, process updates, and strategic workforce planning.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in both Maltese AND English is a must
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with HR systems will be considered an advantage
- Candidates must be able to travel to the Malta office on a weekly basis, although based in Gozo
Education and experience
- 3 years of proven experience as an HR ExecuƟve or in a similar semi-senior HR role.
- Be extremely well versed with the Maltese Employment, OHS, and ImmigraƟon Laws.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology or related field is highly
