Our client is looking to onboard an HR Coordinator to oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, administration, employee relations, and learning & development, while maintaining strong alignment with central HR, external stakeholders, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Department Managers to update job descriptions, screen applications, conduct interviews, and manage candidate relations
- Coordinate the complete onboarding process including inductions, integration, TCN work permit applications, renewals, and ID card processing
- Manage daily administration such as engagements, terminations, sick leave, injury reporting while ensuring compliance with employment law, company policies, and collective agreements
- Maintain accurate employee records across systems and generate required weekly, biweekly, monthly, or ad-hoc HR analytics reports
- Act as the primary point of contact for personnel regarding queries, welfare issues, morale-boosting strategies, and disciplinary matters
- Organize team-building initiatives, employee engagement activities, and departmental events
- Conduct Training Needs Analyses, deliver learning initiatives, and support the performance management cycle
- Execute additional tasks, projects, or duties as dictated by business needs
Requirements
- A-Level standard of education or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an HR position
- Good understanding of local employment legislation is a strong asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish or Maltese
