We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for an Assistant HR Manager to support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll administration, employee relations, and HR compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
- Assist the Talent Acquisition with the recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, coordinating interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Support employee engagement, training, performance management, and HR initiatives.
- Administer work permits and ensure compliance with local employment legislation.
- Process monthly payroll, maintain HR records, and manage employee data within the HRIS.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR documentation, and statutory submissions.
- Provide first-line support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR reports and workforce statistics.
- Support employee relations, disciplinary processes, and exit interviews where required.
What We're Looking For
- Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
- Previous experience in a generalist HR role, international experience is a big plus
- Strong knowledge of Maltese employment legislation and HR best practices.
- Experience with payroll processing and HR information systems (Shireburn experience is an asset).
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Fluent in written and spoken English; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
