Client Payroll Executive - Part time or Reduced

A boutique Corporate Services Provider (CSP) is looking for an experienced Payroll Executive to join their team. This person will be managing payroll services for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle payroll accurately and on time for a portfolio of clients.
• Calculate overtime, bonuses, allowances, leave, and other adjustments.
• Process employee records, including onboardings, terminations, and salary changes.
• Prepare and submit required tax and statutory compliance forms (e.g., FSS, Jobsplus/engagement, SCC).
• Resolve payroll queries and liaise directly with relevant authorities.
• Manage work permit applications and renewals for Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and submitted within the required deadlines.
• Monitor work permit expiry dates and maintain accurate records to ensure continuous legal employment.
• Ensure compliance with payroll legislation, employment regulations, data protection requirements, and company policies.

Quoted salary is based on full-time, will be pro-rated based on the hours worked.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of local employment/social security laws
• Shireburn Experience would be considered an asset
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese is preferred
