Our client, a leading local winemaker, is seeking a Hospitality & Guest Experience Executive to join a newly established wine estate in the south of Malta. Reporting directly to the CEO, this hands-on role will see you acting as a key support person in the day-to-day hospitality operations of the estate, ensuring every guest enjoys a memorable and personalised experience.
This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality, food, wine, and customer experience. Working closely with the CEO, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences, supporting winery operations, and helping establish the estate as a premier destination for wine lovers and visitors.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming and hosting guests visiting the estate
- Conducting winery and vineyard tours
- Assisting with wine tasting experiences and event coordination
- Acting as a brand ambassador and key point of contact for visitors, partners, and clients
- Building strong relationships with guests and promoting a positive image of the estate
- Preparing and presenting food platters, light meals, and pasta dishes for tastings, events, and private functions for small groups
- Assisting with the planning and execution of events, corporate functions, and private gatherings
- Ensuring hospitality areas are maintained to the highest standards at all times
- Supporting reservations, bookings, and guest communications
- Assisting with social media content opportunities, visitor engagement, and promotional activities where required
- Ensuring all established SOPs and service standards are followed consistently
Working Hours: Monday - Sunday on roster basis
Requirements
- Previous experience within hospitality, catering, food service, restaurants, hotels, events, or a similar guest facing environment
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Interest in wine, food, and hospitality experiences
- Comfortable interacting with guests from different backgrounds and nationalities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, energetic, and hands on approach
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Organised, reliable, and able to take ownership of responsibilities
- Good command of English; additional languages will be considered an asset
- Food handling experience and basic food preparation skills are highly desirable
- Applicants must already be based in Malta, with the legal right to work in Malta
