Our client is looking for a Intoplane Operations & HSSE Coordinator to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Station Manager in the day-to-day management of intoplane operations, ensuring smooth operational performance and timely follow-up of priorities, disruptions, incidents, delays, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with airlines, airport authorities, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and effective communication.
Promote and monitor compliance with Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) standards by carrying out inspections, safety observations, toolbox talks, training, and awareness initiatives, while ensuring adherence to company policies, airport regulations, and local legislation.
Monitor, investigate, and follow up on incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions, audit findings, inspections, and corrective action plans, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Support compliance with aviation fuel quality standards by monitoring quality control procedures, equipment inspections, operational records, and ensuring readiness for internal, external, airline, airport, and customer audits.
Train and support operational teams to ensure procedures are consistently understood, implemented, and maintained across all activities.
Coordinate contractor and supplier activities, ensuring compliance with HSSE requirements, airport regulations, access procedures, and company standards while monitoring performance and work execution.
Maintain accurate operational, HSSE, quality, inspection, and compliance documentation, ensuring records are complete, up to date, and readily available when required.
Requirements:
Experience in operations coordination, HSSE, quality, compliance, or a similar role.
Strong understanding of health, safety, security, and environmental regulations and best practices.
Familiarity with aviation operational procedures, audits, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with airlines, airport authorities, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
High attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills.
Ability to work independently, take initiative, and perform effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
A proactive, safety-conscious, and professional approach to work.
Must already be based in Malta and eligible to work locally.
