We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established organisation for a Health & Safety Manager to lead and promote a strong health, safety, and compliance culture across its operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced H&S professional to take ownership of safety management systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement within a dynamic working environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Develop, implement, and maintain Health & Safety policies, procedures, and management systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, workplace inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
- Ensure compliance with Maltese Health & Safety legislation and company standards.
- Identify hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Deliver Health & Safety training, inductions, and awareness programmes.
- Manage contractor safety and permit-to-work processes.
- Monitor Health & Safety performance, KPIs, and reporting.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across the organisation.
What We're Looking For
- Degree, Diploma, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health & Safety.
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience in a Health & Safety leadership role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, industrial, or pharmaceutical environments.
- Strong knowledge of Maltese Health & Safety legislation.
- Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
