Our client is looking for an Operations Manager to join their team. The role focuses on ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and the safe, effective delivery of services. The position also plays a key role in planning new operational initiatives, developing processes, and driving high standards of customer service, environmental responsibility and overall business performance.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring services are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with company objectives.
- Plan and allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and vehicles, to maximise productivity and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with project, sales, and compliance teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop operational plans, risk assessments, and work procedures to support the successful execution of projects.
- Support business growth by contributing to project proposals, identifying new service opportunities, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Monitor budgets, operational performance, and key performance indicators (KPIs), implementing improvements to enhance profitability and efficiency.
- Act as the primary operational contact for clients, ensuring strong relationships and the prompt resolution of service-related issues.
- Lead, develop, and motivate operational teams by promoting collaboration, continuous improvement, and employee training.
- Assist in the planning and commissioning of the company's new facility, including developing SOPs, supporting procurement, and ensuring operational readiness.
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety standards, environmental legislation, company procedures, and quality management systems while driving continuous operational improvement.
Requirements
- A technical background in architecture, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Solid previous local experience in Operations and Management within a regulated company
- Proven success in project coordination, workforce planning and operational oversight within a fast-paced environment
- Sound knowledge of health and safety protocols and environmental legislation, including EU directives.
- Effective leadership skills to guide, inspire and support multidisciplinary teams.
