Our client, a leading Financial Institution is looking to recruit a Senior Manager – Financial Services Risk Management to join their growing team.
Main responsibilities include :
- Lead and deliver client engagements across enterprise risk, credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk and regulatory compliance.
- Advise financial institutions on the design, enhancement and implementation of effective risk management frameworks, governance models, policies and controls.
- Lead the development, review and validation of quantitative risk models and methodologies, including IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss (ECL), credit rating models, stress testing, ICAAP and ILAAP.
- Support clients in identifying, assessing, monitoring and mitigating key risks, ensuring risk management practices are aligned with business objectives and evolving regulatory expectations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across risk, quantitative services, technology, data analytics and regulatory compliance to deliver integrated, value-driven solutions.
- Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients, engaging confidently with senior management, boards and other key decision-makers.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities, contributing to proposals, client presentations, thought leadership and other market-facing activities.
- Lead, coach and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative environment focused on professional development, innovation and continuous learning.
- Stay abreast of emerging regulatory requirements, market developments and industry trends, translating complex requirements into practical and commercially relevant solutions.
- Contribute to leadership through research, publications, industry events, client seminars and other external initiatives.
Requirements
- Several years of relevant experience in risk management, quantitative modelling and/or regulatory consulting within the financial services sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory frameworks, including CRD and related prudential requirements.
- Proven experience managing complex projects and leading teams, while building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Experience contributing to digital transformation initiatives, advanced analytics, AI or technology-enabled solutions within risk and regulatory functions.

- A degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Risk Management or a quantitative discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Financial Engineering or Engineering.
