On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing tax, audit and consulting firm, we are seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team at their offices in Paphos, Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
Lead, plan, and execute audits for a portfolio of local and international clients in accordance with professional standards (IFRSs & ISAs)
Review and supervise the work of junior auditors, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS requirements
Review tax computations and tax returns for individuals and corporate clients (IR4, IR7, IR1)
Identify audit risks and propose effective solutions to mitigate them
Ensure audit engagements are completed within agreed timelines and budgets
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and the management team
Maintain and build strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
Stay up to date with changes in audit, accounting, and tax regulations
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA
Proven experience in leading audit engagements and managing teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Education and Experience
ACCA / ACA qualified
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant audit experience in a professional services firm
