Senior Auditor

€18,000 - €22,000 Annually Full Time Experienced (3 years +) On Premises Closing in 2 days

On behalf of our client, a well-established and growing tax, audit and consulting firm, we are seeking a Senior Auditor to join their team at their offices in Paphos, Cyprus.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and execute audits for a portfolio of local and international clients in accordance with professional standards (IFRSs & ISAs)
  • Review and supervise the work of junior auditors, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Prepare and review financial statements in line with IFRS requirements
  • Review tax computations and tax returns for individuals and corporate clients (IR4, IR7, IR1)
  • Identify audit risks and propose effective solutions to mitigate them
  • Ensure audit engagements are completed within agreed timelines and budgets
  • Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and the management team
  • Maintain and build strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
  • Stay up to date with changes in audit, accounting, and tax regulations

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA
  • Proven experience in leading audit engagements and managing teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational, time management, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education and experience

  • ACCA / ACA qualified
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant audit experience in a professional services firm
