Our client is looking for an organized, proactive Middle Officer Regulatory Operations Officer to join their team. Acting as part of the First Line of Defence, you will coordinate regulatory reporting, governance, and control activities across the firm. Reporting directly to a Director, you will collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and Senior Management to ensure full compliance with financial services regulations.
This position is available on either full-time or reduced-hours basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Regulatory Reporting: Coordinate and submit required returns, disclosures, and filings under applicable frameworks (e.g., MiFID/MiFIR, MFSA, DORA, FATCA/CRS).
- Governance & Documentation: Maintain regulatory registers, outsourcing records, and supporting documentation.
- Third-Party Due Diligence: Perform and manage ongoing due diligence for custodians, banks, and key service providers.
- Policy & Control Maintenance: Monitor regulatory updates, assist with procedural changes, and update internal policies and controls.
- Operational Support: Assist Senior Management with first-line control obligations and ongoing administrative compliance.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in MS Excel.
- Proactive, analytical problem-solver who takes ownership of deadlines and communicates effectively across all stakeholders.

- Degree in Finance, Banking, Law, Business, Compliance, or a related field.
- Local experience in regulatory reporting and compliance within Financial services, Investment or Funds services
- Sound understanding of investment services regulations and reporting requirements.
- Previous experience dealing with local regulators is considered a strong asset
