A reputable and well established client of ours is looking to onboard a Finance Executive to join their team, and support the day-to-day finance and accounting function of the Company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for a broad range of accounting and finance duties, including purchase and sales ledger activities, payments, reconciliations, payroll and general accounting support.
Duties:
- Set up and maintain supplier accounts within the accounting system.
- Process the monthly payroll using Shireburn Indigo Payroll.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve outstanding invoices and account queries.
- Assist with the processing of inventory and import-related invoices, including VAT and duties.
- Process and record staff expense reimbursements, petty cash reimbursements and other payments, as well as salary, tax and VAT payments as required.
- Process accounting entries relating to stock adjustments and other internal transactions.
- Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, payment platforms and other balance sheet accounts.
- Process employee engagements and terminations through the Jobsplus portal, maintaining employee leave entitlements and record leave taken.
- Assist with sales ledger activities, including posting customer receipts, opening customer accounts and issuing statements.
- Produce accounting, payroll and operational reports as requested by the Head of Finance and management.
- Assist with the annual audit by preparing information and supporting audit testing across areas such as purchases, sales and payroll.
- Assist with other finance and administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Have a good understanding of accounting principles, including ledgers, reconciliations and journal entries.
- Have experience with accounts payable, payment processing and bank reconciliations.
- Be comfortable working with accounting, payroll and inventory management systems.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Engkish
Education and experience
- Previous experience with Shireburn accounting software (SFM), Shireburn Indigo Payroll and/or Shireburn Inventory Management System (SIMS) is a requirement
- Must be partly ACCA qualified
