Structural Engineer

A client is looking to recruit a Structural Engineer to join their team. Reporting to the Director, the chosen candidate will:

• Manage and oversee structural engineering aspects of ongoing projects
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor structural works
• Ensure works are executed in line with structural designs, technical standards, and regulatory requirements
• Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
• Coordinate closely with architects, draughtspersons, contractors, and other stakeholders
• Provide technical guidance and resolve structural issues arising on site
• Support project delivery from design stage through to site execution
• Liaise directly with the senior Structural Engineer on project progress and technical matters

Requirements

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication and coordination skills

Education and Experience

• Degree in Structural Engineering is a must
• Must be based in Malta and hold proven local experience in a Structural Engineer role
• Experience handling site works from a structural perspective
• Strong knowledge of residential and commercial development projects
• Valid driving licence is a must
• Local warrant is considered an asset
• Maltese will be given preference unless person holds strong local experience in the same role and level
