Our client within the Architecture and Design Industry is looking for a Structural Engineer to join their growing team. The selected candidate will play a key role in the design, supervision, and delivery of structural projects, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertake structural design and prepare structural/construction drawings.
- Perform general draughting tasks as required.
- Supervise works on-site to ensure adherence to design and safety standards.
- Manage and coordinate projects, including liaising with contractors and consultants.
- Conduct site surveys and inspections.
- Measure and assess completed works for quantity surveying purposes.
- Attend meetings with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Carry out any other related duties as may be required by the employer.
Requirements:
- Possession of a valid Architect or Civil Engineer Warrant.
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in structural design and construction supervision, preferably in Malta.
- Proven expertise in structural design for buildings using Eurocodes and local standards.
- Proficiency in preparing detailed structural and construction drawings.
- Strong capability in site supervision and project coordination.
- Solid working knowledge of AutoCAD and structural analysis software.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; fluency in Maltese is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
