Service Technician (Maritime Industry)

We are currently looking for a service technician to work with an international recognized company specializing in turbochargers. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

• Perform onsite servicing, inspection, and repair of marine turbochargers;
• Dismantling, assembly, cleaning of parts when required;
• Review of documentation provided before job task;
• Create service reports, time sheets and delivery notes when required;
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with both customers and team members;
• Maintenance of tools and equipment;
• Adhering to OHS policies; 
• Keeping abreast with ongoing updates and information;
• Participate in international and local training.

Please note that this is an urgent vacancy with a short hiring timeline. As a result, we are currently seeking candidates already based in Malta who have the legal right to work without requiring a new work permit or a work permit transfer

Requirements

• Willingness to travel internationally at short notice;
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• EU driving licence B is required;
• Flexibility to support on-call and emergency callouts.
