Senior Technical Project Engineer

Our client is an established organisation working within the environmental and sustainability space, with a strong focus on projects linked to clean energy and energy efficiency.

They're looking for a Senior Technical Project Engineer to join their team and get involved in a variety of meaningful projects, supporting everything from planning and coordination through to implementation.

The role offers a great opportunity for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer who enjoys combining their technical background with project coordination and wants to gain further exposure to clean energy, energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.

What you'll be responsible for:

• Coordinate and support technical projects from planning through implementation
• Track project activities, milestones, timelines, resources and budgets
• Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders throughout project delivery
• Prepare project documentation, progress updates, reports and presentations
• Support feasibility and risk assessments where required
• Ensure project activities and documentation align with relevant environmental regulations, standards and requirements
• Research emerging technologies, sustainable practices and potential new project initiatives
• Support the continuous improvement of project processes, systems and digital tools

What we're on the lookout for:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Ideally, at least 2 years of relevant professional experience
• Previous exposure to project coordination, implementation or technical projects
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Good command of English
• Experience within clean energy technologies or energy efficiency would be considered a strong advantage
