Our client is seeking a senior-level Electrical Technician specialized in Building Management Systems (BMS), KNX, and DALI controls, you will take a leadership role in designing, programming, connecting, and commissioning complex electrical and automation systems from conceptualization through to final project delivery.
Duties and responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Research, evaluate, and select products, components, and materials based on system functionality, efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Execute advanced programming, configuration, and customization of BMS, KNX, and DALI systems according to client and project requirements.
- Oversee the wiring, electrical connections, and component integration to ensure seamless cross-system communication.
- Conduct hands-on commissioning, system testing, fine-tuning, and performance optimization prior to project sign-off.
- Act as the senior technical authority for diagnosing and resolving complex integration and troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to define project scopes, resource needs, and timelines across the lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and specialized training to electrical installation teams and junior technicians.
- Ensure all installations and integration works adhere strictly to occupational health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Extensive proven experience as an Electrical Technician specializing in BMS, KNX, and DALI systems integration.
- Hands-on expertise across system design, component selection, programming, connection, testing, and commissioning.
- Electrical Authorization Licenses A and B issued by REWS are considered strong assets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication fluency in ENGLISH and MALTESE
- Strong knowledge of health and safety standards in the M&E and construction sectors.
- Clean Police Conduct Certificate
