A European aviation company providing charter flight operations, ACMI leasing, aircraft management, and continuing airworthiness services is looking for a MOC CAMO Planning Engineer to join their organisation. They support a broad network of international airline partners across the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region.
The chosen candidate will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day maintenance operations while planning and managing scheduled maintenance activities to ensure the continued airworthiness of the aircraft fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinated maintenance activities for both scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, ensuring minimal operational disruption and maximising fleet availability.
- Acts as the central point of contact for technical issues, managing AOG events and coordinating timely defect rectification with maintenance providers and operational departments.
- Prepares, monitors, and updates maintenance schedules and work packages, ensuring maintenance tasks were completed within required timeframes.
- Plans maintenance inputs in collaboration with engineering, flight operations, and external maintenance organisations to optimise aircraft downtime.
- Monitors and controls deferred defects under the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and Configuration Deviation List (CDL), ensuring full compliance with applicable airworthiness requirements.
- Tracks the implementation of Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), Component Maintenance Requirements (CMRs), Life Limited Parts (LLPs), and other continuing airworthiness obligations.
- Maintains accurate aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organisational standards.
- Assists during internal, regulatory, and customer audits by preparing documentation and supporting compliance activities.
- Analyses maintenance data and reliability reports to identify performance trends, improve operational efficiency, and support cost-effective maintenance planning.
- Works closely with engineering personnel, maintenance organisations, and operational teams to resolve technical issues while maintaining regulatory compliance and aircraft safety.
- Ensures all maintenance planning and continuing airworthiness activities complied with EASA Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 requirements.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of EASA regulations, including Part-M, Part-CAMO, and Part-145 compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of aircraft maintenance procedures, MEL/CDL management, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with Airbus maintenance manuals and documentation.
- Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft 365, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new programs and software.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with close attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent written and verbal English.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.

Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field, or EASA Part-66 Licence (B1/B2) or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Experience in CAMO planning or a similar continuing airworthiness role is highly desirable.
