The ideal candidate is a proactive and self-motivated professional with a solid background in maintenance or mechanical engineering. You combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership abilities capable of driving continuous improvement, solving complex mechanical issues, and mentoring junior technicians within a collaborative team environment.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plant Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs on key machinery including reactors, centrifuges, dryers, mills, micronizes, and sieves.
- Fluid Handling Systems: Maintain transfer pumps, pipelines, valves, vacuum pumps, and solvent tanks.
- Utility & Facility Systems: Service HVAC units, chiller systems, cooling towers, boilers, scrubbers, air compressors, and fire protection systems.
- Cleanroom & Water Systems: Support cleanroom facilities, purified water systems, and filtration equipment to maintain regulatory compliance.
- Shutdowns & Turnarounds: Plan, coordinate, and execute machinery maintenance schedules, including planned plant shutdowns and turnarounds.
- Projects & Upgrades: Assist in the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of new plant equipment and machinery.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of maintenance or related industry experience, ideally in a senior capacity.
- Conversant with standard mechanical workshop techniques, procedures, and tools.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- Self-starter able to take initiative, provide proactive recommendations, and promote long-term, permanent solutions.
- Strong team player with a track record of mentoring junior technicians.
