Our client is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to maintain, optimise, and troubleshoot production lines and plant operations. The candidate will be collaborating with cross-functional and shop-floor teams to drive process improvements and resolve daily production issues.
What you'll be Doing:
- Create, maintain, and update accurate material codes and Bills of Materials.
- Monitor daily production processes to identify opportunities to boost line efficiency and output.
- Perform routine maintenance, technical troubleshooting, and critical repairs.
- Partner with external subcontractors to coordinate the servicing, repair, and specialised maintenance of plant equipment.
- Support the installation, technical commissioning, and operational integration of new equipment.
- Deliver direct technical support to resolve real-time production issues and minimise downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing workflows, machinery performance, and plant operations.
What we're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree (MQF Level 6) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline. (Open to fresh graduates and junior candidates)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and equipment manuals.
- Possession of an Electrical Licence A and/or B is a considered an asset.
- Highly organised with strong documentation habits and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English and Maltese is a must (written and spoken) working knowledge of Italian is a bonus.
- Self-motivated, hands- on team player willing to undergo local and international training.
