Our client within the Building and Engineering Services Industry are seeking a dynamic individual to join their company as a HVAC Mechanical Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will handle technical submittals, tendering, procurement, site surveys, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation & Tendering: Prepare cost estimates, quantity take-offs, tenders, and procurement plans for materials and labor.
HVAC & Systems Design: Design, cost, and commission HVAC and mechanical building systems, providing technical support to installation teams.
Site & Project Oversight: Conduct site surveys, monitor progress, inspect installations, and liaise with construction teams on drawing amendments.
Procurement: Source cost-effective local and international suppliers and process purchase requisitions.
Reporting & Support: Assist with training technicians/drafters and prepare project status reports for management.
Requirements
Education: MQF Level 6 degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering.
Technical Knowledge: Solid background in HVAC and mechanical building services. AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
Skills: Highly organised, strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: Office Hours
