Our client, a well established organisation operating within a specialised industry and committed to delivering high quality products and services, is seeking an experienced and detail oriented professional to join their team as a Facilities Manager. Reporting to the COO your responsibilities will include:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a large scale facilities and property management site, ensuring the smooth maintenance and upkeep of all buildings, infrastructure, and technical systems.
- Oversee facilities service contracts, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and performance monitoring.
- Manage the department's operational budget, approve purchasing requests, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
- Ensure the site complies with health & safety regulations, risk management practices, and business continuity plans.
- Lead, support, and develop the Facilities Management team, including recruitment, performance management, and training.
- Manage complex facilities projects, including mechanical, electrical, and ICT infrastructure, as well as office fit outs and refurbishment works.
- Develop and improve facilities policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure the efficient operation of a large and technically complex site.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday: Office Hours
Requirements
- Must have at least 3 years of previous experience managing facilities within a large commercial, industrial, or mixed use site is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision making skills.
- Experience managing budgets, contractors, and technical projects is considered an asset.
- Must have local experience in a similar role and industry, with excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
